Spring finally seems to have arrived this year (2013) with temperatures in double figures for a change (13 degrees C today - 18th April 2013) and no bitingly cold East wind !!!
Saw 3 species of Butterfly in the garden at the beginning of this week - Brimstone (female), Comma and Small Tortoiseshell.
Hopefully the rest of this year will be warm and sunny enough to enable some decent invertebrate recording to take place. Watch this space !!!
